Caracalla, 198-217. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.38 g, 1 h), Laodicea, 198. [IMP C M AVR] ANTONINVS PONT AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. SECVRITAS PVBLICA Securitas seated left, holding globe in her right hand and leaning left on throne. BMC 647. Cohen 568. RIC 332. Beautifully toned. Minor flan fault on the reverse. Good very fine.
